System Analyst – Banking Sector
We are looking for an experienced System Analyst who is confident working on banking IT projects, enjoys working in client-side environments, and acts as a bridge between business requirements and development teams.

Your Responsibilities

Gathering customer requirements, understanding business needs, and defining development tasks / writing user stories

Translating business requirements to development teams

Preparing process diagrams, business documentation, and technical specifications

Delivering presentations and demos of completed solutions

Maintaining communication with clients, customers, and end users
-
Close cooperation with development, testing, project management, and sales teams

Regular work in client-side (on-site) environments
Requirements
-
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in the IT domain

Higher education degree (economics and/or IT)

Experience in preparing process diagrams and architecture plans (e.g. Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io)

Basic SQL knowledge

Experience in interface design (e.g. message mapping, interface specifications)

Knowledge of XML and JSON message structures
-
Familiarity with REST and SOAP API technologies

Confident user-level computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Professional working proficiency in English

Analytical mindset with strong documentation skills

Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills

Knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
Nice to Have

Experience in banking IT projects and understanding of banking operational processes

Knowledge of the ISO 20022 messaging standard

Experience in projects initiated by the Hungarian National Bank (MNB) or GIRO

Message queue (MQ) experience

Financial domain knowledge

Knowledge of software development methodologies, project and release management

Familiarity with agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

Knowledge of testing methodologies and test support tools

Experience supporting pre-sales processes
