We are looking for a colleague for the following position:

Your Responsibilities

  • Gathering and understanding customer requirements; defining development tasks and writing user stories
  • Translating business requirements to development teams
  • Preparing business documentation, process diagrams, and specification documents related to projects
  • Maintaining ongoing communication with clients
  • Preparing and delivering presentations
  • Demonstrating completed solutions to clients
  • Liaising with clients, customers, and end users
  • Close cooperation with internal teams (development, testing, project management, sales)

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst in the energy sector
  • Higher education degree (economics and/or IT)
  • Experience in preparing specifications, process diagrams, and user stories
  • Experience in interface design (e.g. REST APIs, Kafka)
  • Experience with XML/JSON-based communication (e.g. message mapping, interface design)
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
  • Confident user-level computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong documentation skills, including preparation of client documentation
  • Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Kafka and message queues (MQ)
  • Experience with different architectures (monolithic, microservices)
  • Familiarity with testing tools (e.g. SoapUI, JMeter, Postman)
  • Experience in UML or BPMN process modeling and system design
  • Experience with Enterprise Architect (EA)
  • Additional experience in the energy sector
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies and test support tools
  • Familiarity with agile principles and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, project and release management
  • SQL knowledge
